Fraternity and Sorority Life Student Assistant
Rate of Pay: $10.50/hour

Act as a representative of the Fraternity and Sorority Life team and use acquired knowledge to respond to internal and external requests and clients in a respectful, courteous, and helpful manner.
Responsibilities
• Assist with general office duties, including but not limited to, answering the telephone, copying, scanning, filing, updating spreadsheets, etc.
• Assist with all education tracking for Fraternity and Sorority Life
• Answer telephone and communicate information quickly and precisely to appropriate personnel
• Answer various inquiries regarding the specific work of the office
• Assist with paperwork processes, and additional documentation managed through the office
• Sort, distribute, and collect mail
• Perform other duties as assigned, including special projects, showing flexibility and willingness to help in diverse situations
• Perform related duties as assigned, showing flexibility and willingness to help in diverse situations
• Must be able to appropriately prioritize competing work commitments with own personal obligations
• Maintain confidential information
Qualifications
• Previous clerical and computer experience highly desirable.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be comfortable with excel spreadsheets
• Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Must be able to exercise a high level of discretion.
• Must be UI registered student.
• Must not have a record of any student misconduct – disciplinary or academic.
